President: Roy Dueitt
Roy has always loved music, so when he was was asked to provide music for a dance as a sophomore in high school, he jumped at the opportunity. From that point on, he knew he wanted to be around music all the time. As owner and full-time entertainment specialist at TMAC Sound, Roy strives to raise the standard of the DJ industry and provide qualty entertainment for all of his clients. With more than 20 years of experence in the music industry, Roy knows that every client and event are different and treats them as such. As evidence of his commitment, he was elected the first president of the new Houston chapter of the American Disc Jockey Association in June 2004. He recently won the ADJA"s 2007 Michael Butler Humanitarian Award. By attending conventions, monthly meetings and workshops Roy makes sure that he continues to learn so he may present each client with fresh ideas and treat them with the respect that they deserve. Roy has been married 8 years and has two dogs. He believes his key to happiness and work are linked together. He loves his job so while he plans and meets with clients he is not dreading the work. Once and sometimes twice a week he gets to bring happiness to people through life, stories, laughter and music. The same can be said for his home life. He loves what he does for a living and that makes for a happy marriage. Roy feels he is truly blessed to be able to be in the profession he is in.

Vice President: Paul Olson

Paul P. Olson, 40, is owner and president of Sound Connections, Inc. A Houston native, Olson has been specializing in providing quality mobile disc jockey services to thousands of Houston-area customers. After attending University of Houston, Olson purchased the business in 1980 and has solely owned and managed its growth ever since. Olson has experience in top nightclub music programming, and booking bands and other entertainers. Olson holds membership with the American Disc Jockey Association (ADJA) and Houston Chapter (HADJA, where he presides as Vice-President), as well as the Music Information X-Change (MIX), National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), along with Houston’s Chamber of Commerce and the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Olson maintains knowledge of the ever-evolving music scene and new disc-jockey entertainment activities by attending and participating in national music conferences and events. Olson believes his philosophy on his entertainment business is simple. He states, “I customize the entertainment I provide based on information shared with me by my clients. I take the time to visit with them to plan an event that is not only successful to them, but also a memorable experience for all guests. Each show I book is as important to me as to my clients.

Treasurer: Lisa Wallrath

Dynamic Sounds D.J. Service. Since 1990, DJ, Lisa Wallrath has Provided Quality entertainment to Houston and surrounding area residents. More than just a DJ, Lisa is also the owner. This assures that the best interests of the client will always be provided directly from the owner. Your satisfaction and entertainment is her business. Lisa is serving her second year as treasurer.

Membership Director: Mike Waggett

Mike is a “born & raised” native Houstonian. He began spinning records at age 16 while working at the local skating rink. After graduating from high school, he began playing nightclubs in the Bay Area at age 18 while attending college. A patron of the nightclub asked Mike if he would play music for his daughter’s wedding reception and as they say, “the rest is history.” In 1985 Mike started Wag’s D.J. Service. Since that time, he has played at events such as weddings, receptions, company parties, picnics, Holiday celebrations, reunions, anniversaries, birthdays, school functions, pool parties and fund-raisers. However, Mike saw a special need in the Bridal Industry where entertainment was lacking that “special flare” and he decided to specialize his talents in Wedding Entertainment. “I wanted to give Brides that special attention not often given by other entertainment companies.” Therefore, Mike started attending special training in wedding entertainment such as the “Love Story” workshop and several others. He continues to stay informed of the latest changes in the mobile DJ Industry by attending DJ conventions, DJ seminars, reading trade magazines and working with local DJ’s in the American Disc Jockey Association. In 2004 Mike and his wife Kimberly helped start a Bridal Networking group in the Clear Lake/Bay Area called the Bay Area Wedding Professionals, where Mike is currently serves as Chairman. Mike was so dedicated to giving his Bride’s what they needed that he went Full-time with his business in 2005. With over 22 years experience as a Mobile DJ and Entertainer, Mike continues to strive to maintain a successful, professional business with customer satisfaction his number one goal. He hopes that one day, he can be joined by his (now seven year-old) son, Brandon.
